Refund Policy
Version 2.0 · Effective
This Refund Policy explains how refunds, cancellations, and billing disputes are handled for KithForm AI, a service owned and operated by CSJ GRACE SOLUTIONS LLC. Paddle acts as the Merchant of Record for all transactions and is responsible for processing payments, refunds, and tax compliance. By subscribing, you agree to the terms below.
1. Merchant of Record
CSJ GRACE SOLUTIONS LLC uses Paddle (paddle.net) as its authorized Merchant of Record and payment processor. Paddle is the seller of record for all KithForm AI subscriptions, handles payment collection, tax remittance, and refund processing on behalf of CSJ GRACE SOLUTIONS LLC. Any refund request will be reviewed and processed by Paddle in accordance with the terms shown at checkout and applicable law.
2. 14-Day Free Trial
Every new KithForm AI account starts with a 14-day free trial of a paid plan. No payment method is required to begin the trial. You may cancel at any time during the trial and you will not be charged.
If you do not subscribe to a paid plan before the trial ends, your account will automatically convert to the Free plan. No refund is owed because no payment was collected during the trial period.
3. Paid Subscriptions
Starter, Professional, and Business subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in advance through Paddle. You may cancel at any time from your account settings or through Paddle’s customer portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and you will continue to have paid-plan access until that date.
Paid subscription fees are processed by Paddle and are non-refundable for partial months or unused portions of an annual term, except where required by applicable law or the terms shown at checkout.
4. Refund-Eligible Situations
Refunds are processed by Paddle in the following situations, as required by law or the terms presented at checkout:
- Billing errors — you were charged twice for the same period, charged the wrong amount, or charged after a valid cancellation was already processed.
- Fraud or unauthorized payment — the charge was made without your authorization.
- Service defects — a documented platform outage or technical defect prevented you from using the service for a significant portion of the billing period.
- Law or payment-network rules — a refund is required under applicable law or payment-network dispute rules.
5. How to Request a Refund
The fastest way to request a refund is to submit it directly through Paddle at paddle.net. Alternatively, you can contact us at and we will coordinate with Paddle on your behalf. Include the email address associated with your KithForm AI account, the date and amount of the charge, and a brief explanation of the issue.
Paddle processes approved refunds back to the original payment method. Refunds typically appear within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer.
6. Subscription Downgrades
Downgrading from Pro to Free is a cancellation of your paid subscription. The downgrade takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and previously paid amounts are not refunded.
Switching from monthly billing to annual billing (or vice versa) does not reset or extend your current billing period. Any price difference or proration is handled by Paddle according to the terms shown at checkout.
7. Disputes and Chargebacks
We encourage you to contact Paddle or our support team at before disputing a charge or filing a chargeback with your bank. Most billing issues can be resolved quickly without involving your card issuer. If a chargeback is filed without first contacting us, we reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Changes are effective on the date posted at the top of this page. If a material change affects your current subscription, we will notify you by email or through the platform at least 30 days before the change takes effect.
